To control current breakouts, it is recommended that a patient undergo a treatment course of 4–6 sessions.

Once the active acne is under control, touch-up sessions may be needed to clear subsequent breakouts. Fortunately, the treatment can be easily performed whenever a breakout occurs.

Before the treatment, you will need to completely clean your skin with a cleanser to remove any lotions, makeup, or other substances on the skin. This ensures that the treatment will be able to achieve the best results possible.

And unlike other acne treatments, NeoClear has no side effects. This means you will not experience dry, itchy, or tender skin. There is no “downtime” following NeoClear treatments. You may return to your normal daily activities immediately, though as with any laser treatment, you should wear a sunblock recommended by your skin care professional and avoid direct sunlight. You may experience a slight redness in the skin, but (if it occurs at all) it will fade within a few hours.
